GeneBlock: New Research Project Combining Livestock Genomics, GIS and Blockchain Technologies
The Mamuris Research Group is pleased to announce the launch of GeneBlock, a new research project funded by the Region of Thessaly. Led by Prof. Zissis Mamuris, the project aims to develop an innovative digital platform for the collection, management and utilization of genetic data from livestock populations across Thessaly.

AgriTalentEX: A New Horizon Europe Project for Sustainable Agricultural Innovation and Research Excellence
Our research group is pleased to announce the successful funding of AgriTalentEX – “A Center for Sustainable Agricultural Innovation and Research Careers in Central and Eastern Europe”, a new Horizon Europe project under the European Excellence Initiative (EEI). The Grant Agreement was officially signed in July 2026, with the four-year project scheduled to begin in November 2026.
