Our research explores the genetic diversity and evolutionary history of natural and domesticated populations using comparative genomics, population genetics and phylogenomics. We investigate patterns of genetic variation, adaptation and evolutionary processes across a wide range of organisms, contributing to biodiversity conservation and evolutionary research. Bioinformatics forms an integral component of all research activities within the group, supporting the analysis of next-generation sequencing data, genome-wide association studies, comparative genomics and multi-omics datasets through advanced computational methodologies.
