New Publication on the Genomics of the Indigenous Greek Eghoria Goat

A new study from our group, published in Current Issues in Molecular Biology, explores functional genetic variation in the indigenous Greek Eghoria goat. The study, entitled “Uncovering Functional Genetic Variation in the Indigenous Greek Eghoria Goat: An Integrative Genome-Wide Discovery and Validation Approach,” integrates whole-genome sequencing (WGS), bioinformatics and MassARRAY validation to identify and validate genetic variants with potential functional significance. The findings provide valuable genomic resources for the characterization of this indigenous Greek breed and contribute to future strategies for genetic conservation, breeding and sustainable livestock management.
