We are pleased to share that our recent publication, “Comparative Whole Genome Analysis and Targeted Validation of Variants in Three Greek Indigenous Sheep Breeds,” has been featured on the front page of Current Issues in Molecular Biology (CIMB).
The study combines whole-genome sequencing with targeted variant validation to investigate genetic diversity and functional variation across three indigenous Greek sheep breeds. The findings provide valuable genomic insights that can support the characterization, conservation and future genetic improvement of local livestock populations.
This recognition highlights the Research Group’s ongoing research in livestock genomics, indigenous breed conservation and sustainable animal production.
